What do you know about London? London is one of the biggest and most well-known cities in the world. Millions of people visit the city every year, and that is a determining factor in Londoner’s daily life. Just image you’re a Londoner and when you are walking in your neighbourhood, people around you talk in other languages. It is a fact that in London more than 300 languages are spoken.

Actually, is not just people talking in different languages, is people who live in London and also make London more attractive. In Camden, there is a street with numerous Japanese restaurants, this delicious, delightful and distinctive street, now is part of London’s culture. When you get inside in one of these restaurants, there are the wall are typically decorated in authentic  Japanese style (pictures, aquariums, fans), people who are eating around you are from Japan, even the menu is written in Japanese. The atmosphere make you feel like you’re not in London, you have done a quick journey to Japan. I could say the same about people from different countries living in London for generations. London is like a patchwork quietly , sewn together with remnants of world cultures.

There is more  to London than  initially meets the eye. London is also made by people from all over the world, who work there. Friday night, image you work in this city and you just meet with your colleagues from work to have a drink. You’re in a pub, talking and laughing, making jokes with people from everywhere and speaking English. Would you image that a language could join together so many people?

Think about a city which is like a puzzle, formed by pieces of world culture and art that express themselves, performances crop up everywhere, they don’t lose their identity. As a result, you can join in with a Brazilian show or be part of a Irish dance, and the most important, YOU don’t even have even leave the city. The 89% of Londoners think that culture ensure a high quality of life.
